By downloading, installing, or using Vishwa Note — Private Notes ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
Vishwa Note is a free, offline note-taking application that allows you to create, edit, organize, and manage personal notes on your mobile device. The App operates entirely offline and does not require an internet connection, user account, or login credentials.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Vishwa Note for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable app store policies.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its source code
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
User Content
All notes and content you create within the App ("User Content") remain yours. We do not claim ownership of your User Content. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing up and protecting your notes.
You agree not to use the App to create, store, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Vishwa Note does not collect, transmit, or store your personal information or note content on any external servers. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for complete details on how we handle your data.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any defects or errors will be corrected
- The App will meet your specific requirements
- Your data will not be lost due to device failure, uninstallation, or other circumstances
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Since your notes are stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for any data loss caused by device damage, theft, software updates, app uninstallation, or other factors beyond our control.
Updates and Changes
We may release updates to improve the App's functionality, fix bugs, or add new features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.
We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Intellectual Property
Vishwa Note, including its design, logo, features, and code, is the intellectual property of its developers. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may terminate or restrict your access to the App if you violate these Terms, though given the offline nature of the App, such restrictions would apply to future updates or support.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
